Our
belief ....
QuickLink
Systems believes that D and T electronics for students is more
creative, fun and educationally engaging when more "open-ended" practical
Design and Make activities are undertaken. To ensure success
and progress, teachers also need to feel confidently-equipped
to facilitate these practical activities; where students are
encouraged to
work and think more autonomously. |

Introducing
QuickLink123+
|

|
"With the National Curriculum 2008 imminent;
schools need to offer DMA's,
where
K.S. 3 students can work more autonomously and
more creatively in their electronic project work".
Supporting
younger students devise & make their own electronic circuits
is a considerable challenge for most teachers. Project design work
is commonly restricted to the product's case and the making to a
"kit" circuit provided by the teacher. This is often seen
as uninspiring by the students and repetitive by the teachers.
QuickLink's unique
integrated teaching system now provides schools and colleges with
a complete solution: allowing younger
students to be more creative and independent in their working as
teachers are fully-supported managing and resourcing these activities.

Designing and Making
Tasks

Why Set "More Open" Tasks...?
Motivation in students often comes from their interest
in the subject or teacher and from the resources
that they are using. A carefully chosen project
allowing students to take "ownership" and make
their own decisions about its outcome will
also provide an enormous boost to their desire
to succeed. When students
successfully make and test their own designs
a greater sense of achievement and confidence is gained. |
