Curriculum Support:

“Meetings to assist the Development of K.S. 3 Systems / Electronics ”

These events are aimed at schools introducing or developing their department’s Systems and Control electronics schemes of work. They will provide you with teaching materials, introduce QuickLink's teaching system packages and cover:

A brief outline of the pertinent 2008 curriculum changes and expectations.
A discussion of the definition of “creativity” and QCA’s views on “Creativity in Action”.
The use of a system’s approach to facilitate broader hands-on opportunities within D and T electronics and the successful management of the resultant outcomes.
A complete learning structure to provide progression across Key Stage 3.
Example Systems/Electronics projects to take away and use with Year 7 and Year 8
An opportunity for hands-on use of QuickLink’s “Project Tools” and associated hardware systems.
