Intruder Alarm System (please note images have been reduced in size)

(For use with the FastTrack pcb from QuickLink Systems)

Hints:

1, Try making the membrane switch different sizes and test it to see how much pressure is required to make the copper tape contacts connect together and trigger the alarm.

2, To make the circuit detect when pressure is removed swap over R4 and Sw1.

3, To reset the latched circuit after it has been triggered simply toggle the on/off switch (remember to conceal it though).

4, Use QuickLink123+ software to try alternative designs for the intruder alarm system. Perhaps using more/different output devices or alternative input detectors.
