FastTrack
Project PCB's
The FastTrack circuit board can be used to support
the making of 1000 different control systems when used with
the Project Tools software - Creative
working now becomes easier to manage, as you do not need to
make different circuit boards for each of your student's projects
(example circuit layouts shown above).
Minimum of components used makes resourcing and component
stock much cheaper and easier to manage.
True sequential systems approach makes project circuits easier
to follow and fault-find with components logically laid out.
Supplied
ready drilled, tinned + legend + solder resist using quality
FR4 board. Pads/tracks are well spaced and generous, to aid
good soldering. You can model/test your circuits and eliminate
possible first - time errors, such as connecting components
the wrong way round, by using an identical SmartStart
Modelling System below.

The
SmartStart modelling system (above) uses the same pcb layout
as the FastTrack board; allowing students to easily test
circuits designed with the Project Tools software. This
is quickly achieved by pushing the required components into
SmartStart's low resistance gold-plated connectors (see
right).
By prototyping, students can develop ideas and recognise
and remedy common problems such as the misplacing of components.
They can then go on to solder their systems with greater
success using the identical stand-alone FastTrack
circuit board (see top right).
Supplied
as ready-to-assemble kits in class packs of 10, the SmartStart
units are battery powered and make an extremely convenient
and affordable way of investigating system designs before
making. The electronic components can be reused, making
further savings when operating with lower budgets.

The
SmartStart Model/Make Set contains 10 ready-built
SmartStart modelling systems and 50 FastTrack
project pcb's. Housed in a lockable sturdy metal flight case
c/w 10 miniature screwdrivers to adjust input sensor circuits
etc.
The
adjustable compartments at the bottom of the case can be utilised
to store FastTrack's circuit components making it an ideal
portable electronics "tool cupboard" for use between
workshops.
